Brightwell Dispensers

Touch screen product showcases

Brightwell manufacture and design commercial dispensing solutions. A global company established over 60 years ago, their specialities include paper, soap and chemical dispensers crafted from innovative designs perfectly suited to their purpose.

Although Brightwell holds a leading position in their market and have accrued a sterling reputation across the globe, their values remain very much at the core of their day to day operations and they never stray too far from their family-run foundations. Based locally, Brightwell have worked closely with Nexus on a number of successful projects over the years.

Brief

Brightwell approached Nexus seeking a solution to promote their latest product designs. They showed us an animation on the website of a well known headphones manufacturer which they liked - the animation ‘exploded’ the headphone into its basic components offering viewers an insight into how the product is constructed. Brightwell tasked us with applying this idea to their products for use as a sales tool at an upcoming exhibition in Amsterdam called ISSA Interclean.

Solution

Brightwell worked with a 3D imaging company who supplied us with the high-res files we needed to get started. These images were then set into sequence and animated by our developer Steve, with user controls added to manipulate what was being shown on-screen. The initial brief was to create something interactive for iPad, however as the project progressed they suggested opting for touch screen monitors instead to allow enough space to showcase each product.

Result

Our client was thrilled with what we created for them and the demonstrations were a great success at their exhibition. It wasn’t long before we were asked to create additional versions for some of their other products and adapt the microsite for use on web and desktop, which we were more than happy to do - we look forward to seeing how this project may continue to grow.
