Brief

Jason approached us with the idea of producing a quarterly magazine, which would be distributed to the MWB client base. The purpose of this new magazine was to inform their clients of service and industry updates, while incorporating lighter lifestyle features & articles.

Solution

As this was a completely new publication, the first task was to create a logo and develop a strong style and brand. This new logo could stand-alone but also needed to subtly reflect the MWB brand attributes.

We designed a dummy front cover and several internal spreads which were then duplicated and printed. We then produced a hard copy proof which could be presented to the MWB board of Directors for discussion. After a successful pitch meeting, we commenced work on refining the style sheets and templates before creating the first edition.

Collaboration software allowed us to build the framework of the magazine online, whilst amending and reviewing articles in real time. This improved the proofing process, resulting in a flexible and instantaneous workflow.

Result

Since producing the first version of the magazine, we went on to produce six further editions of the publication. The magazine now boasts a wide range of features including current affairs, celebrity interviews and reviews and now offers corporate advertising packages. It is currently on sale in a number of venues.
