Who says women can’t park?

April 28th, 2009

I wonder how I ever managed to operate before the computer came along. I fondly remember spending hours in phone boxes with  a bag of coins whilst phoning my customers and reporting into my office every day. It all seems so far away today and after the weekend I can see that I have 40 odd emails come in to me for my reading pleasure!!!

The business environment is very tough today as we struggle through this difficult economic cycle and I can see so much more activity as we all are sending out more emails trying to entice our customers and prospects to remember that we are here and ready to jump as soon as they say Yes.

I usually scan all of the junk mail just in case an important one has slipped through the net and it really made my day when I opened up the email “Who says women can’t park” – the title alone made me want to look further.

Monday mornings are always a struggle for most people so it was great to have a good laugh and enjoy the email.

Viral email is so powerful as part of the marketing mix – this one is short, quick and straight to the point, more importantly it is not overtly Mazda badged.

My point is, that emails are the bane of our life today. This one made me smile, but will I forget what the email was really trying to say. No way – Mazda has this one right on the nose with a truly memorable viral.

It has so impressed me that I am writing this blog.

So don’t forget to scan your junk mail, there just could be a really important message that could have slipped through or there could be a brilliant email that will truly brighten up your day. Do I really miss those days spent in a hot smelly phone box by the side of the A23?

The power of email can be so strong so don’t overlook it and try and find ways to tap into this market which will give the right message to your customers and prospects.

You could of course contact Nexus and see what we can dream up to brighten up someone else’s day.
