Did you know that there is a space/align function in QuarkXPress? You can space and align objects relative to each other, the page, or a spread at the click of a button! I spent many wasted hours aligning objects accurately, using guides and boxes before I found out about this very useful tool.

Start by selecting two or more items on your page then choose your options using the Space/Align tab in the measurements palette. You can display this on the measurements palette by pressing [apple] and [,]. The icons show how the items will be aligned.

To repeat a Space/Align command using your most recent settings, just press [cmd], [Option] and [/] or choose Apply Last from the Item> Space/Align menu.
